Exploring the Mezzanine floor in Luigi's Mansion 3 allows players to collect six distinct gems hidden throughout the area's dining spaces and entertainment rooms. Tracking down every jewel on floor 2F requires a combination of clever Poltergust G-00 abilities, including the Suction Shot, Dark-Light Device, and Gooigi. Keeping up with daily gaming news offers extra tips for mastering Luigi's gear while aiming for complete 100 percent completion of the Last Resort hotel.
Red and Purple Gem Locations on Floor 2F
The Red Gem is located inside the ballroom area towards the upper balcony area. You must use Gooigi to blow music sheets off the table and interact with the nearby piano keys to reveal the secret compartment containing the gem. Afterwards, head to the dressing room to locate the Purple Gem hidden behind a moving tapestry that requires the Poltergust to peel back completely.
Green and Blue Gem Puzzle Solutions
To acquire the Green Gem, head over to the main dining room area where a hidden trapdoor leads to an underground storage zone. Using Gooigi, navigate through the narrow pipe system to drop directly onto the green gem platform without activating nearby security traps. The Blue Gem requires freezing the kitchen area using the Strobulb light on a hidden refrigerator button to open the locked cold-storage door.
Yellow and White Gem Secrets
The Yellow Gem rests inside hallway display cases near the top stairs leading toward the grand dining section. Break the protective glass using a heavy object propelled by the Suction Shot feature to grab the prize instantly. Finally, track the White Gem by targeting a secret door revealed by the Dark-Light Device near the restroom corridor entrance.
Tips for Completing Floor 2F Collection
Revisiting the Mezzanine after acquiring advanced Poltergust abilities like Gooigi makes collecting missing items significantly smoother. Ensure you check every dark corner using the Dark-Light device to reveal hidden illusions that contain additional coins, hearts, or gem rewards. Collecting all six 2F gems awards a special floor mastery achievement, helping you move one step closer to completing your overall hotel collection trophy list.
